Mr. Vivek Jain, as the Chairman of INOXGFL Group, aligns and evolves the strategic approaches for the Group and its portfolio of offerings while building a strong leadership team to drive its execution.

A firm believer in change management, Mr. Jain has steered INOXGFL to emerge as one of the global leaders in Fluoropolymers. His visionary and astute leadership resulted in INOXGFL venturing into different verticals making the group one of the most sought-after companies in the country.

An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and St. Stephen’s College, Delhi, Mr. Vivek Jain has over 34 years of rich business experience in setting up and managing several businesses.

Trotting on his Mantra ‘Innovation is the key to success ‘throughout his career, he has consistently maintained high standards in developing superior products and a management structure that enables his colleagues to operate with maximum efficiency and innovation. His "eye for perfection" has made all verticals excel, and has been appreciated by his customers worldwide.

Today, Mr. Jain with his venturousness and dexterity has hurled GFL into becoming one of the largest suppliers of fluoropolymers to Europe, US, and India. With a self-owned R&D team to develop fluorine-based molecules and other products, the group’s future revenue drivers will be the advanced materials catering to the new age Industry, viz: Electric Vehicles, Solar power, and Hydrogen Fuel Cells & Electrolysers. His unceasing efforts and intention to support society at large have driven him to be present in all spheres of the green revolution.

Mr. Jain, through the group’s CSR initiatives, works on providing education, skill development health & hygiene, and opportunities in sports for enriching the lives of the underprivileged and differently-abled. He has been working towards environmental sustainability, both through the technologies being introduced as well the contributions and support provided to environmentalists.

Mr. Devansh Jain

Executive Director

Devansh Jain is the Executive Director of the $12 billion INOXGFL Group, an Indian conglomerate with a legacy of over 100 years, which is one of the largest business Groups in India. It is a forerunner in diversified business segments comprising fluoropolymers, specialty chemicals, EV battery chemicals, wind turbines and renewables. INOXGFL Group is leveraging its existing expertise to be amongst the deepest integrated green conglomerates in India.

Post his double major degree in economics and business administration from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, USA, Devansh initiated the Group’s entry into the renewable energy sector with the incorporation of Inox Wind. Under his leadership, Inox Wind has grown to become one of the largest and most successful renewable energy companies. He was instrumental in overseeing the listing of Inox Wind in 2015 and spearheaded the listing of Inox Green, the world’s first listed independent wind O&M company, in 2022 on the Indian stock exchanges. Today the Group’s renewable business is at the forefront of India’s Wind Energy arena. Additionally, under Devansh’s leadership, Inox Solar is being set up at the promoter level. Inox Solar is setting up multi-gigawatt manufacturing capacity for solar cells and modules. It will also offer end-to-end EPC and O&M solutions. This foray will further strengthen and diversify the group’s capabilities to offer comprehensive solutions for hybrid renewable projects.

Devansh is helping accelerate and position INOXGFL Group at the forefront of the energy transition. He is increasingly focusing on expanding the new age business verticals of EV/ESS battery chemicals and solar & green hydrogen, which are being scaled up under GFCL EV. He is also driving the Group’s renewable’s IPP platform IGREL Renewables which is setting up ~ 3000MW of Wind and Solar capacities. The group is well positioned to capture a large opportunity in energy transition and emerge as one of the leaders in this space.

Devansh chairs the Wind Energy Committee at PHDCCI and is a member of the Advisory Board of the Indian School of Business & Finance (ISBF). He was co-chair of the Wind Energy Committee of FICCI (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry). He has held leadership positions in several other business associations including the Indian Wind Power Association, the Indian Wind Turbine Manufacturers Association, Young Presidents' Organization (YPO) Delhi Chapter, Entrepreneur’s Organization (New Delhi Chapter) and Carnegie Mellon Alumni Association (CMU).

Devansh has received numerous awards for his entrepreneurial success and leadership, including the prestigious Fortune ‘40 Under Forty’ for 2023 & 2024, Next Gen Leader of the Year 2022 from Hurun India, A Role Model for Responsible Entrepreneurship from Hurun Report 2019, the prestigious AIMA Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2017, the Spencer Stuart Economic Times '40 Under Forty' India's Hottest Business Leaders Award 2016, the Global Excellence Award for Renewable Energy 2014 from the Energy and Environment Foundation, and the Wind Power Man of the Year 2013-14 from the Renewable World Awards.

Mr Bir Kapoor

Deputy Managing Director & CEO

Dr. Bir Kapoor, Chief Executive Officer at Gujarat Fluorochemicals Limited (GFL), is a Chemical Engineer from IIT Kanpur, and he holds a Ph.D in Chemical Engineering from City University of New York, New York. He is also an alumnus of Harvard Business School, Harvard, USA, where he attended the Advanced Management Program (AMP).

Dr. Kapoor has 37 years’ extensive industry and business expertise in areas related to fluoropolymers, fluorospeciality chemicals, FMCG, Textiles & Fiber Technology Development, Fibers, Metals and Chemicals. Dr. Kapoor started his career in R&D management and then moved to manufacturing, operations, and business management. He is listed as a co-inventor on 12 patent applications.

He has worked and managed businesses and manufacturing units across various geographies in North America, Europe, India, Southeast Asia & China.

Dr. Kapoor joined GFL in September 2021, which is a leading manufacturing company of fluoropolymers and fluorospeciality chemicals in India.

Before joining GFL, Dr. Kapoor worked with the Aditya Birla Group for close to 18 years in various senior-level management positions.

Mr. Kallol Chakraborty

Head - Group Corporate Human Resources

As a seasoned HR professional with over 35 years of experience, Mr. Kallol Chakraborty possesses a unique blend of expertise in HR Business Partnering, Strategic HR, Social Accountability, and Corporate Social Responsibility, along with an uncanny knack for building relationships across all levels in an Organization. His extensive background spans multiple disciplines, including setting up new businesses and handling mergers and redesigns, Performance management and change management, Talent acquisition, retention, and organizational design, Leadership Development and Training, Policies development and technology integration, Employee Engagement, Proactive Employee Relations, and Collective Bargaining, Labour Law & Statutory Compliances.

He has been instrumental in Driving Business Excellence through TPM and Lean implementation, Sustainability initiatives and reporting linked to the 17 SDGs, Responsible Care and Integrated Reporting (IIRC standards and GRI), aligning HR processes and systems to ISO 26000 and ISO 20400 standards across the supply chain.

A master facilitator, he can transform complex concepts into usage tools. With infectious energy and an innovative mind, he always seeks opportunities to bring value to the organization and its people. His approachable, helpful nature has made him a natural mentor to the young in his team and beyond.

Mr. Kailash Tarachandani

Group CEO Renewables Business

Mr. Kailash Tarachandani has been integral to Inox Wind since its inception and, as CEO, has built the company from the ground up. With over 32 years of experience in strategy, global project management, and business development, he has led the acquisition of technologies and the development of a strong management team. He holds a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kanpur and an MBA from INSEAD, France. Previously, he was with Kenersys, Vestas, Alstom Power, and Larsen & Toubro.

Mr. Akhil Jindal

Group CFO & Head Strategy

Mr. Akhil Jindal, a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from IIM Bangalore, brings over 30 years of experience in engineering, corporate finance, banking, strategy, M&A, media, and investor relations. Before joining INOX GFL, he spent nearly two decades at Welspun, leading acquisitions and divestments worth over $5 billion and raising over $10 billion in equity and debt. Previously, he managed a 400 MW hydro project and spearheaded acquisitions like Reid & Taylor and Iwerks at S. Kumars. He led finance, strategic initiatives, and a 330 MW power project at Essar Group.
